MONETARY SUSTAINABILITY AT THE UN
UN Peoples' Bank
11/2/2023
The webpage consists of two main items: an August 2022article in https://transformmoney.org and the promising legislation HR4065 about the establishment of a National Infrastructure Bank. Its organizing package at https://www.nibcoalition.com/organizing-packet where its summary and talking points are the most important sources of information. The third minor item is the correspondence of Dr. Verhagen with Professor Huber, the acknowledged specialist on sovereign money, about the TTRIMS monetary sustainability framework and its Tierra monetary architecture.

It is significant that both Omarova’s US Ledger proposal and the NIB coalition legislation use the term national infrastructure bank. In the former proposal that National Infrastructure Bank or NIB is part of the legislative process, while in the latter NIB is outside the legislative process, harking back to four historical instances where the sovereign government created the needed funds by monetizing $5 trillion of privately held securities by paying 2% interest. It is an example that may help nations to dothe same by having their securities and debt monetized to have the UN Peoples' Bank start with enough capital!
It is important to place the apostrophe after the S in peoples and not before the S in peoples: the UN Bank is the bank of all peoples or all nations.
