In the center of the associated world peace ceramic you see the acronym EPE which stands for Earth and Peace Education Associates(www.globalepe.org). I co-directed EPE with my later spouse Dr. Anita Wenden, Learning Strategies specialist and editor of the 2004 international anthology “Educating for a Culture of Social and Ecological Peace”. It was one of our major joint activities that, wellnigh for the first time in the seventies, emphasized the need to include the ecological sustainability dimension in the notions of social peace which was the focus of the International Peace Research Association (IPRA). Note that in the EPE website the economic dimension was not highlighted.
While the study of World Peace focuses in various ways on its three dimensions of social, ecological, and economic peace, the study of the Tierra Transformed International Monetary System (TTRIMS) sustainability framework of global governance and international development is foremost dealing with the monetary, financial, fiscal, and commercial subsystems of the world economy, and to a lesser extent with the social dimension.
However, given the present global emergencies in climate, health, food and governance, an economic framework with its four subsystems that are integrated under the world’s monetary system should be an important or maybe essential part of studies in World Peace. Such inclusion is also very important for binding peace movements, sustainability movements, and ESG (environment, social, governance) business movements together. In last instance, such global grassroots movement is necessary to advance the momentous structural changes in TTRIMS and its ability to advance World Peace.
The ceramic sustainability pyramid is also an important image of the TTRIMS monetary sustainability framework of the world economy because reality is always a dynamic integration of its social, economic and ecological dimensions.
A third ceramic that is important in all advocacy work is the one about resistance, insistance, and persistence, a three-fold attitude set of change agents.
HELLO WORLD WITH YOUR UNJUST, UNSUSTAINABLE, AND THEREFORE, UNSTABLE INTERNATIONAL MONETARY SYSTEM, TIME TO TAKE YOU ON !! I pledge resistance to the present unjust and unstable monetary, financial, fiscal and commercial subsystems of your world economy with its mounting monetary oppression; I pledge insistance by not letting up the fight against the unjust, unsustainable, and therefore, unstable international monetary system and its associated financial, fiscal, and commercial subsystems, and to fight for the advancement a transformational Bretton Woods3.0; I pledge persistance in becoming a TTRIMS (and trim) person who, using the TTRIMS visional framework and its activism, wants to contribute to a better you with an excellent just and sustainable global governance structure and process for the 21st century.
